Laughing
Keep your eyes peeled for this one. I have never tried a drip camaign before but it seems to be an interesting plan so I'm going to give it a try. I don't really like the idea of putting huge amounts on one result so I'm going to start with $10 as an experimental drip.

Could be a $10 to $50 campaign. Laughing

This thread has been sitting here getting cold for a while Laughing

But I see it opening up for business this wk with the Brisbane vs Richmond game. No play confirmed yet but tough to see the Lions losing here. There is the 'intangible' of Frawley announcing his resignation and who knows what effect this will have. But in the end, even if Richmond do play better knowing this, they'll probably still lose to Brisbane. News on the teams that Matthew Richardson is out only gives them an even smaller chance.

Your thoughts

Hehehehehehe.

We all gotta start somewhere mate. After you have a successful campaign this year you bump it up a little next year and the same the year after that. Don't worry about the value of your bets just get your discipline right for when you do eventually get to the big bucks and I have no doubt that you will.

Good luck with it mate.

Making another drip play this week.
Brisbane/Port Power double.... Lions at home to a Bulldogs outfit which seems to be low on confidence and playing terrible football, Lions don't seem to really get up for these lowly sides but they do enough to win. Port looking very strong right now highlighted by a spanking of the Saints and can't see Carlton beating them over at AAMI Stadium. The Blues do have nice memories from their last visit, a thrilling victory over the Crows, but the hero on that day Fevola will be missing this time around, not to mention the Power are a much strong outfit than the Crows.

$10.60 on a Brisbane/Port Power double @ 1.15 to win $1.59 Shocked

Let's keep the ball rolling...

Time for another drip play. Today's game, Melbourne vs Western Bulldogs. As I said in the other forum, Melbourne look a very strong and impressive outfit, while the Dogs are struggling and don't seem to have the talent to match the Dees. One bad factor is this match is at the Telstra Dome instead of the MCG (Dees yet to play at TD this season), so there is some small doubt, but not enough to make me pass up this play. If the Dees are switched on they should run up a very big total with all their offensive firepower.

$12.19 on Melbourne to bt Bulldogs @ 1.16 to win $1.95

If this one comes through then I'm ready to say this drip is "on fire" like lloyd banks

Drip chugging along nicely, and another play coming up this weekend. The usual suspects again. Firstly, Brisbane to bt Adelaide. Adelaide didn't give a great performance at home vs Freo and were probably a bit lucky to get as close as they did as Freo missed some easy chances. Really can't see this inexperienced Crows side going up to the Gabba and beating the Lions who need this game to stay in the top few positions as it's very tight up there.

Melbourne also has an important game vs Richmond, who continue to struggle. The Dees didn't really hammer the Dogs as much as I expected but inaccuracy was part of the problem. Back on their favoured MCG, I expect them to demolish the Tigers easily, and with Nathan Brown ruled out this gives the Tigers even less of a chance if they had any at all to start with.

$14.14 on a Brisbane/Melbourne double @ 1.21 to win $2.96

good to see u having a go at this style osoup, and i totally agree with stone cold that this is still a very important drip for u because if you are this controlled with 10 dollars then the bigger money will be no problem for you. just remember always stick to your guidlines and as crawf would say be patient and of course good luck.

cheers Coal, yep discipline is probably the most important thing when trying this drip campaign, you need to be careful.

Another drip play this week, in the West Coast vs Bulldogs game. Dogs really look like they lack any sort of confidence and desire to really win a game and travelling over to Subi to knock off the in form Eagles will be too tough for them here. The close battles these two teams have had seem a long time ago now and the Dogs need to lift a LOT to take this game. It is Scott West's 250th game but unfortunately for him I don't think this will be enough.

$17.10 on West Coast to bt Western Bulldogs @ 1.10 to win $1.71

Let's keep it going...

Making another drip play this wk, West Coast Eagles vs Carlton. Eagles are playing about as well as they have all season, in great form and really was on top of Brisbane for the majority of last week's game. Coming back home to Subi where they rarely lose, the only interstate team to beat them this year is Port Power who are much more powerful than Carlton and have a great record at Subi. Carlton have lost all their road trip games except for the one vs Adelaide which they had no business in winning and the Eagles are much tougher. Carlton lost to the Eagles @ Subi by over 100pts last season and lost by about 40 in round 1 to Freo this year, they've improved since then but not enough to win here.

$18.81 on West Coast to bt Carlton @ 1.11 to win $2.06

If this comes thru I will have doubled the initial $10 which would be a solid effort

Let's finish this campaign off for this season with one more play. Firstly St Kilda vs Fremantle. Fremantle have faded terribly this season and will most likely miss the finals unless there is a massive upset. Can't really see it happening here, Saints are unbeaten at the Dome and look OK lately.

Also Brisbane vs Kangaroos, Brisbane at home at the Gabba and somewhere near full strength in a must win game to maintain top two positioning. I think they will be too desperate and too good here. They were in great form vs St Kilda last week and more of the same this week will lead to an easy win.

$20.87 on a Brisbane/St Kilda double @ 1.26 to win $5.42

Let's hope the perfect record for season 2k4 continues

congrats on the successful drip campaign onion. it is good to see that the style has came through for the second time on this website. i think that makes the website record 2/6 or there abouts and in real mony or adjusted money terms there is a net profit recorded.
