Sitting in the negatives for the first time this year. I don't like the feeling much so it's time to get back on track.
2* Adelaide -9
Love the Sixers at home here coming off a loss. They should have too much firepower for a Hawks side that is starting to get it's act together.
Sydney now sit even with Adelaide on wins and losses in the race for the 6th and final playoff spot with only 9 games left in the season. The Hawks will pull level on wins if they can pull an upset here.
I think Adelaide are desperate to put a gap on the Hawks here. The big redhead in the middle should have too much size inside for the Hawks bigs. Sixers by double digits after putting a gap on them early.
Will take the over as well if I can find a number 200 or below. |

2* Adelaide/Hawks over 200.5
No Petrie or Davidson tonight for the Hawks, only 8 players suiting up. Expect Adelaide to play up tempo to take advantage of this and hammer the ball inside to their bigs, given Hawks are skinny in there and attempt to get them in foul trouble.
Both teams have been racking up the points recently so I'm looking for that to continue here. |

Kavossy's last second layup caused me to miss my push on Wednesday.
Just a couple of small plays tonight.
1.5* Under 183.5
1.5* Crosswhite to outscore Hinson @ 2.08
Crosswhites time has been greatly increased since the loss of the imports. I expect him to score over 15 points tonight which should be enough to get past Hinson in what is traditionally a low scoring slug between these two.
Grabau and Mee troubled the Cats guards last time they visited with their D, expect more of the same here as Cairns hang around in the first half before the Cats have too much firepower in the second. Tempted to take the +14 for Cairns here as well, they've gone well in Perth in recent visits. |

Crosswhite managed to win despite looking disinterested and bored for the first 3 quarters. Maybe its an injury? Either way, Hinson missed about 6 wide open threes to shoot something like 1-13 for the game and bring the bet in. The under was never in doubt. Remind me never to back an over in a Cairns game ever again in my life. Their defense is great and the offense is horrid.
Which brings me to tonights play...
2* Cairns / Adelaide Under 186.5
The under when a team is in a B2B situation is now 8-2 this season. Cairns are stringing together unders like they were going out of fasion. After watching what their defense did to Perth last night and also seeing how equally horrible their offence is at any stage Cat doesn't have the ball. It's hard to back anything other than the under.
These two played out a 71-70 horror show at their last meeting. I think this one stays under 180 as well if Cairns continue on last nights efforts. |

| deasend, as a fellow Perth supporter, I must say at the moment I am thoroughly disappointed with how the season is going. Thought we would be contenders but now as it turns out, we will be fighting just to make the 6. Henry has done a poor job given the roster at his disposal IMO. |

Perth have massively underachieved and are a real chance of missing the playoffs now. They are just so inconsistent, they can beat and lose to any team on any given night. Great to have PR back but our backcourt is very ordinary and made even worse with Caporn and Robbins both injured, thus we have no depth there either.
This team should be a contender and anything less than top 4 is a big let down.
