Essendon have looked terrible of late. Hawthorn have had a few close losses but this looks a good opportunity for them to create some form.

Sydney -12.5 vs Brisbane @ 1.93 3u

Sydney are rolling as we know and Brisbane slumped last week. Brisbane now has to back up for another week of travel and I expect the Swans to be fresher for this one.

It's hard to look past the Swans here. After last week I get the feeling the Lions' position has been inflated by 3 games at home, and despite a win at the SCG late last season, the Swans have improved quite a bit since that meeting.

Richmond +60.5 vs Geelong @ 1.87 3u

Richmond as we know, are awful, but did manage to stay within 40 of the Dockers out West last week. Geelong weren't at their best last week and reading between the lines from their team selection, have penciled this one in as a victory (probably rightly so) but the consequence may be a lower level of intensity.

Collingwood -12.5 vs Carlton @ 1.96 3u

The Pies looked somewhere near their best last week, with their tackling particularly impressive. The Blues have a fair bit of firepower, but I think may lack the consistency to knock-off a disciplined Collingwood in this type of form.
